Circular 53 – Agreement for the Managing Agent to be the Information Officer?

Dear Managing Agent

1. Please have reference to our Attached Circular 52, on whether you as the Managing Agent, have decided to be the Information Officer, of your schemes or not.
2. Should you have decided to be, please see Attached Agreement to appoint an Information Officer, which the Scheme may use to appoint you.
3. Please ensure that you read the Attached Guidance Note in full and remember that an Information Officer can be held criminally liable for certain offences in terms of the POPIA and the PAIA, (para. 4.2, page 8 of the Guidance Note).
